Step 1
Start by prepping your veggies – finely chop the carrot, onion, and mushrooms, and mince the garlic.
Step 2
Fry off veggies in a pan using 2 tbsp sesame oil for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Add in 250 g lean pork mince and cook for 5 minutes.
Step 4
Prepare the sauce by mixing 1 tbsp dark soy sauce, 2 tbsp soy sauce, 3 tbsp oyster sauce, 3 tbsp shaoxing wine, and 1 tsp honey, then add to the mixture.
Step 5
Cook for another 5 minutes, then serve in a bowl with 2 cups cooked rice, lettuce leaves, crispy shallots, and a drizzle of chili oil.
