This Richardson Sheffield Velocity Santoku is enhanced with a 17.5 cm long blade. The dimples in the blade ensure that no ingredients stick to the blade. A Santoku is the Japanese version of the chef’s knife. Just like a chef’s knife, you also use a santoku to cut meat, fish and vegetables. The santoku is not better or worse than the chef’s knife. The only difference is that you use a different cutting technique when you use the knife. Which will suit you best, therefore depends on which cutting technique you prefer.
