The Kai Tim Mälzer knives are fitted with KAI’s famous damask layered metal structure, combined with a very strong core of V-gold-10-steel. The blade has been hammered by hand in a Japanese way. This technique is called tsuchime. This not only ensures high sharpness and a beautiful appearance, but it also ensures that the product that you are cutting sticks to the blade far less. The core of the blade is on the outside enhanced with 32 layers of stainless damask steel. The hardness of these knives is 61’1 HRC, which is exceptionally hard. This keeps this knife sharp for a very long time. The handle is made of brown walnut wood and is very comfortable in the hand for both left and right-handed people. A beautiful detail is the Tim Mälzer logo on the end of the handle. All in all, a beautiful, functional knife to be loved.
