Step 1
Place rice and milk of your choice in a small saucepan. Add dried fruit, honey and cinnamon.
Step 2
If you have 1/2 pear or apple that needs to be used, grate it into the pan.
Step 3
Cook the rice pudding over low heat, stirring often, for 15-20 minutes, until thick and delicious.
Step 4
Divide the rice pudding between two bowls, drizzle over extra honey or maple syrup and top with sliced fruit, toasted nuts, or yogurt.
