Valrhona Lait Caramelia Milk Chocolate
Valrhona Caramelia is a unique milk chocolate couverture with gentle caramel and salted butter notes. The caramel milk chocolate is made from deeply caramelised milk and butter blended with cocoa and cocoa butter to give a rich and unctuous mouthfeel.
The chocolate gives a delicate character to desserts. Take inspiration from chefs around the world with Michael Caines’ Lait Caramelia Chocolate Mousse, and American patissier and Cronut creator Dominique Ansels who has used Caramelia in his indulgent cereal mix – coating chocolate puffs in a fine shell of the Caramelia chocolate. Or the late summer dessert from New Zealand’s restaurant Milse and their Valrhona Caramelia chocolate parfait with summer berries, blueberry meringues and lemon verbena sorbet.
Valrhona Caramelia contains a minimum of 36% cocoa. The bar is scored to help you break it into five 50g pieces, with the trademark Valrhona name stamped onto each piece.
Ingredients: sugar, cocoa butter, caramel (skimmed milk, whey (milk), sugar, butter (milk), flavouring), whole milk powder, cocoa beans, emulsifier: soya lecithin. May contain traces of nuts, egg proteins, gluten, peanut and lupine.
