Description
Sun Brand Major Grey mango chutney is a sweet, sour and spicy condiment that’s the perfect match for Indian curries. It’s also a great dip for grilled chicken skewers.

The true story behind the name of Major Grey mango chutney is unfortunately lost to history. The popular theory is that it’s named after a British Army Major who was stationed in India when the Merwanjee Poonjiajee & Sons company was founded in the 19th century.
A hot mango chutney and a mild mango chutney from Sun Brand are also available.

Sun Brand products are still made using traditional recipes that have been handed down in the Merwanjee and Poonjiajee families for generations.
