Sichuan Pepper & Salt
Sichuan (or Szechuan) Pepper Salt is a spice blend made from tongue-tingling Szechuan peppercorns, ground with salt. The Sichuan Pepper Salt comes in a resealable pack – and is a great way to introduce a light, spicy seasoning to a dish.
Sichuan peppercorns are famed for their red colour, and their cold-spice, giving them a really distinctive flavour. Sprinkle a dash of Chinese Sichuan Pepper Salt over noodles, or stir through a bowl of plain rice. This Asian spice blend is also delicious when rubbed into a beef steak, and sprinkled over pan-fried fish.
