Description
Wan Ja Shan’s rice vinegar is naturally brewed from high-quality glutinous rice. This rice vinegar has similar acidity levels to Western vinegar, but with delicate, sweet rice notes. Mix with mirin and sesame oil to form the base of Asian vinaigrette dressings. Also use it in homemade sushi vinegars and marinades.
Wan Ja Shan is was established in 1945 with their first factory in Taipei. Their name translates as ‘aroma to 10,000 households’ – though the business underestimated its success, as it now supplies housholds worldwide with its premium vinegars, sauces and condiments.
