Piquillo pepper strips are a type of small, sweet Spanish pepper. They’re hand-picked and roasted, leaving small specks of charred skin and concentrating the flavour. Piquillo pepper strips come from North East Spain near Pamplona, where their name literally translates as ‘little beak’.
Try pan frying the piquillo strips with chorizo and anchovies, roast with fish, add to paellas or introduce the sweet, Spanish flavours to a green salad.
