The tomatoes are grown in La Motticella in a very ancient settlement near Lucera. This is in the region of Puglia, famous for its climate and tomatoes. The tomatoes are preserved using traditional, organic methods. They’re are hand-picked, peeled and packed into jars with fresh basil leaves from Paolo Petrilli’s land.
