Description
El Majuelo Reserva sherry vinegar is an aromatic condiment that’s aged for a minimum of 2 years in American oak barrels.
El Majuelo specially select sherry wines and age them using a traditional ‘Criaderas y Soleras’ method. Barrels that already contain some vinegar are stacked on at least three levels. Young sherry is added to the top barrel, and siphoned into the lower barrels as time goes on. The barrels at the bottom – the soleras – contain the oldest vinegar that is eventually bottled.
This aging method involves a constant cycle of blending, giving the finished vinegar a complex aroma and long-lasting flavour.
Use the sherry vinegar in salad dressings or marinades for meat and fish. Also try using the Reserva sherry vinegar to add flavour to gazpacho, and even enjoy with fresh strawberries.
