Anardana powder is made from hand-picked pomegranate seeds which are dried and then finely ground. The dried pomegranate seeds bring a distinctive pomegranate sweet-sourness to Indian and Persian cooking. The powder can be stirred through Persian fesenjen stew or just sprinkled over vegetable or meat dishes to really lift their flavour. Use in place of pomegranate molasses where you don’t want the added syrupy liquid.
