Linguine are a traditional type of pasta with a long, flat shape. Their shape makes them a perfect match for fish-based sauces and dressings. This version of Linguine from Antico Pastificio Morelli is distinguished from the others by the presence of Wheat Germ, rich in vitamins and vegetable proteins. Linguine al Germe di Grano is dried at low temperatures to preserve the flavour of the wheat.

The wheat germ is the heart of the wheat grain, rich in flavour and active nutrients. Normally the germ is removed to facilitate the preservation of flours, but the MORELLI pasta factory, using artisan techniques, reinserts the fresh wheat germ into the dough, obtaining a different kind of pasta, good even if dressed with just a drizzle of oil. During cooking, an intense aroma of wheat is released and the water is slightly tinged with green. It is recommended to season only with cheese and simple sauces to taste.
