The Barbero Torronfetta with Piedmont Hazelnut IGP is a very thin and single slice of crumbly nougat that can be enjoyed in any moment of relaxation, perhaps accompanied by a good Moscato wine. The Davide Barbero Torronfette, today one of the company’s flagship products, were created at the end of the 1950s and initially represented the remainder of the processing obtained from cutting the nougat sticks. The demand for these thin and innovative slices was so high that they became one of the company’s best-selling products. The Torronfetta Like all of Davide Barbero’s nougat, it is still made with the ancient recipe of Asti nougat with long cooking in steam boilers and the use of high quality raw materials, such as Piedmont I.G.P. hazelnuts, wildflower honey , fresh egg white instead of edible gelatine.
