The Carlo Amodeo Summer Honey Tasting Set includes:

Dill Honey: has an aroma reminiscent of the scent of fennel and its flavour is strong with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Ideal with delicate cheeses.

Bramble Honey: has an intense, almost caramel-like aroma and its flavour is strong. Ideal with fresh, unripened cheeses such as ricotta or first salts.

Thyme Honey: has a very intense, floral aroma and its flavour is just as strong as its smell. It is ideal accompanied by savoury and spicy cheeses.

Ferla Honey: produced on the island of Filicudi, it has a delicate aroma and is as slightly fruity as its flavour. It is suitable for those who do not like very intense honeys and is excellent with fresh ricotta.

Apicoltura Carlo Amodeo boasts a production of the finest and most typical Sicilian honeys, obtained from the native Sicilian bee, the so-called Ape Nera (Apis mellifera siciliana), which is also part of the Slow Food Presidium.
