Quick Chilli Sesame Green Beans
There’s no need to eat boring steamed veggies! Learn some quick and easy ways to spice up your greens and make veggies the hero of the meal. Serve these spicy beans with grilled chicken, steak, or tofu and hot steamed rice. And they’re great for noodles dishes or steamed fish, when you need a bit of green on the side.

Step 1
Remove tops from the green beans and place them in a medium sized bowl. Add the olive oil and season with salt and pepper, then toss to coat well.
Step 2
Heat a frypan over medium heat. Once nice and hot, add the green beans, shaking every now and then until they are a little tender and starting to char.
Step 3
Reduce the heat to low, add in chilli paste and soy sauce and cook for 30 seconds until beans are sticky and delicious.
Step 4
Turn off the heat and transfer to serving plate. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and more salt and pepper if needed.
