Pure Italian Saffron in stigmas 0,25 gr

The pure saffron in stigmas packaged by Brezzo is the result of a careful selection of the best saffron from Sardinia. Its ruby red colour, intense but delicate aroma and unmistakable flavour make it a product of extraordinary quality, capable of enhancing the taste of various dishes without masking it. The extraordinary organoleptic properties of saffron make this noble spice a unique product. It is obtained from the flower of ‘Crocus Sativus L.’ of which the red filaments, known as stigmas, are manually selected and then dried and packaged whole, to guarantee purity and quality.

Suggestion for use:

In order to better taste the flavour of saffron rice, it is advisable to use 10 stigmas for each person: with 0,5 grams of saffron you can season 800gr of saffron rice (8 people dose)- Stigmas need to be infused in a half coffee cup of hot water for 4-8 hours. The longer the saffron will saty in infusion the better will be the final result. Cook the risotto and when it will be almost ready pour the infusion.
