The Pink Barbero tin box with crumbly Torroncini with Piedmont Hazelnut PGI is a unique gift idea with a taste of times gone by. Barbero crumbly nougat is a unique and artisanal product, still worked according to the ancient recipe of Asti nougat which dates back to 1883 and which involves long cooking in steam boilers for approximately 7 hours. No edible jellies are used, but only fresh egg white which gives the product great friability and which does not alter the taste of the nougat. The product is then shaped and cut into small single-dose portions; the nougats are then left to cool and individually wrapped.
