Pici with Truffle by Savini Tartufi made with black summer truffle are ideal for preparing a delicious first course in a very simple way. Prepared only with the best durum wheat semolina derived from wheat grown in Italy, they are perfect even simply seasoned with a knob of butter or a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. Pici are a type of pasta typical of Tuscan cuisine and are traditionally associated with full-bodied and strong taste sauces such as those based on meat, mushrooms or truffles.

  The Tuber aestivum Vitt., also known as Black Summer Truffle, has a very delicate taste, but it releases its full typical flavour if eaten after a short medium heat cooking.
