Octopus Salad 🐙
My death row meal. Say less.

Step 1
Start by prepping your octopus. Clean it well under cold water before cooking.
Step 2
The key to any good octopus is boiling it on a simmer for at least 40 minutes before anything. This will keep it tender and juicy.
Step 3
Add the potatoes into boiling water. Boil until semi-firm, about 10 minutes.
Step 4
Prepare your potatoes. This will form the bed for the dish.
Step 5
Cook onion, parsley, and capers with olive oil, chilli paste, salt, and pepper for 10 minutes.
Step 6
Add butter and white wine. Simmer covered for 15 minutes.
Step 7
Take octopus out of water. Dry off and add some olive oil before grilling so it doesn’t stick.
Step 8
Char the octopus for about 10-15 minutes on medium heat, flipping either side.
Step 9
Assemble the salad by adding paprika, parsley, olive oil, and white wine vinegar for taste.
