Callipo Taralli with extra virgin olive oil (20%) are made without yeast and prepared with Coratina extra virgin olive oil. These taralli, a typical snack of the Calabrian tradition are also called “Scaldatelli” (heated Taralli), as they are first blanched in water and then gently cooked in a wood-burning oven for a unique crunchiness! White wine is added to the dough, which made using the finest flour, for a more characteristic flavour. The craftsmanship of the product is also evident from the irregular shape of these Calabrian taralli, which are in fact tied by hand just like they used to be in old times.
