It can be used in small doses to create a spicy condiment by adding sauces to taste and can also be kept outside the fridge as long as it remains covered with a thin drizzle of olive oil. Jalapeño is one of the most typical ingredients of Mexican cuisine but also one of the best known and most used chillies in Europe thanks to its low degree of spiciness.
