The Nocellara Siciliana olive is distinguished by its size and bright green color. Aside from being the fruit from which an excellent extra virgin olive oil can be obtained, its dense and juicy pulp, which easily separates from the pit, also makes it an excellent table olive. Also known as Oliva di Mazara or Castelvetrano, Tonda and Trapanese, it is perfect for your aperitifs or appetizers. The sweet whole green Nocellara Siciliane di Barbera olives are preserved in brine, i.e. immersed in a solution of water and salt, which preserves their flavor and texture.
