Antico Pastificio Morelli Porcini Mushroom Straccetti are rich in wheat germ, vitamins and vegetable protein. They contain natural porcini mushroom extract for a unique and authentic taste.
Wheat germ is the heart of the wheat kernel, rich in flavor and active nutrients. Normally the germ is removed to facilitate the preservation of flours, but Pastificio Morelli, using artisanal techniques, reinserts the fresh wheat germ into the dough, resulting in a different kind of pasta, good even when dressed with just a drizzle of oil. During cooking, an intense wheat aroma is released and the water is tinged slightly green. It is recommended to season only with cheese and simple sauces to taste.
