Caccavelle di Gragnano IGP is the flagship of Fabbrica della Pasta. Caccavella is the largest pasta format in the world: each piece weighs 30 grams and measures 9 cm in diameter and 6 in height, for a pleasure always al dente. Its shape is that of a saucepan, called precisely “caccavella” in Neapolitan. Thanks to its shape, caccavella is ideal to be filled with many different ingredients such as fish, minced meat or ricotta: one of the most typical recipes of Campania are the Caccavelle alla Sorrentina with tomato sauce and mozzarella. The package contains 4 pieces of single portion pasta.
