The Italian Rhododendron Honey of Apicoltura Brezzo is one of the rarest and most prized honeys, harvested between the end of June and the beginning of July in the meadows of the Alpine valleys at an altitude of almost 2000 metres. Rhododendron Honey owes its rarity precisely to the fact that under these conditions, with very low night-time temperatures and variable weather, the bees encounter many obstacles and difficulties in its production, but the result is definitely a honey of superior quality. With a clear colour and fine, creamy crystallisation, this honey offers a very sweet and delicate taste, accentuated by fresh, floral notes. Perfect for sweetening drinks or accompanying cheeses and fine dishes.
