Galatea Tin Box with assorted Sicilian biscuits Cosi Chini with Figs and Zuccotti with Almonds 250 gr

15.00

The colorful Tumminello collectible tins contain 250 grams of mixed sicilian filled biscuits. Each of them bears the name of a character from Greek mythology. Galatea, for example, was a sea nymph who fell in love with the young shepherd Aci. Their love story, unfortunately ended in tragedy due to the jealousy of the Cyclops Polyphemus, also in love with the nymph, gave birth to the famous legend of Aci and Galatea.

The tin box contains:

Cosi Chini Biscuits stuffed with Dried Figs and Sicilian Almonds: a crunchy shortcrust pastry contains a generous filling based on dried figs, chopped and toasted Sicilian almonds, apricot jam, raisins, chocolate chips, honey and coffee. In Sicilian dialect “Cosi Chini” means “filled things”.

Zuccotti: typical Sicilian biscuits made up of a crunchy shortcrust pastry that contains a soft and tasty candied heart made of chopped Avola almonds, cinnamon and Zuccata, a delicious jam made from a particular Sicilian courgette.

A tasty and colorful gift idea to offer for any occasion!
